    How does ultrasonic cavitation work?

    About the Treatment

Discover the duo that changes everything. We pair Ultrasonic Cavitation with Radio Frequency (RF) to provide a complete contouring solution. While cavitation works to break down stubborn fat deposits, our RF treatment focuses on tightening the skin, helping your results look as smooth and firm as they are slender.

    How it works:

    • Ultrasonic Cavitation: Uses low-frequency sound waves to create microscopic pressure bubbles within the fat tissue. This process causes fat cell membranes to rupture, releasing their contents. Your lymphatic system carries the released material away from the area and your liver processes it, along the same route it handles fat from any other source.
    • Radio Frequency (RF): Delivers focused thermal energy deep into the dermal layers, stimulating existing collagen fibres to contract and reorganise while triggering the production of new collagen and elastin. The result is firmer, tighter, more youthful-looking skin.

    • Body Contouring: Targets localised fat in areas such as the stomach, hips and thighs.
    • Skin Firming: Helps improve the appearance of crepey or loose skin often left behind after fat loss.
    • Smooth Silhouette: Helps reduce the appearance of cellulite for a more refined look.
    • No Downtime: A comfortable, non-surgical process that fits perfectly into a busy lifestyle.

    Questions worth asking

Any clinic can tell you what a treatment does. We would rather tell you what it does, what it does not do, and what can go wrong, so you can make a decision you feel good about.

    Is ultrasonic cavitation safe?
Yes. Cavitation is non-invasive and has a strong safety record. Most people feel only mild warmth and a light buzzing. Temporary redness or slight tenderness can settle within a few hours. Because the released fat is processed by your liver, cavitation is not suitable for people with significant liver or kidney disease, those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or anyone with a pacemaker or other electronic implant.
    Does cavitation hurt?
No. The treatment is comfortable and there is no downtime. You may feel warmth from the ultrasound and a gentle massaging sensation from the handpiece. Most clients read or relax through the session and return to normal activity immediately afterwards.
How many sessions will I need?
Results build up gradually, so a course is usually recommended rather than a single session. Most clients have six to twelve sessions, one or two a week, with measurable changes noticed from the third or fourth session. Your exact plan depends on the area and your goals, which we set at consultation.
How long do cavitation results last?
The disrupted fat is cleared naturally by your lymphatic system and liver. Results hold best with stable weight, good hydration and regular activity. It is a contouring treatment, not a weight-loss method, so the remaining fat cells can still grow if weight increases.
    Who should not have cavitation?
Cavitation is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for people with liver or kidney disease, a pacemaker or implanted electronic device, a hernia in the treatment area, or active cancer. We take a full medical history at your consultation and will tell you honestly if another technology suits you better.
